
PSALM 19: ‘SEEING HIS GLORY’
The psalms depict the spiritual life of God’s people – all the ups and downs, joys and struggles of human beings intent on ‘walking with God’. Today’s psalm is full of the glory and goodness of the Lord whom David walks with and worships.

THE GLORIES OF GOD’S WORLD
David is thrilled by the daily shouting of a silent song of praise of God’s glory.
Put in your own words the message of creation’s silent song. What thrills you about these verses?

THE GOODNESS OF GOD’S WORD
What does David have to say in these verses about the goodness of God’s word?
What precious benefits and blessings does it bring the one who loves it? (Please explain in practical everyday terms what these are.)
How does he express its value and delight to him? (Do you share his experience?
What about you? How does God’s word affect your daily life?
How does it help you? When has it blessed you?
How often do you read and meditate on it?
Why not pause to praise God for his word and what it has meant and does mean to you? Pray for its spread…etc.

HIS GREATNESS TO HIS WORSHIPPER
From talking about the Lord, his glory and goodness, the Psalmist turns to talking to Him, to end his song. This is his personal response to the great God.
