The Link is now known as one of the key venues in Cosham and the north of Portsmouth. The former Uncle Tom’s Cabin has been converted into a large meeting room downstairs - activities in here include toddler groups, kids groups, young peoples groups, drop in youth cafe, contemporary worship, elderly coffee morning, alpha groups, parenting groups, men's group, discussion groups, plus bookings from many clubs and societies. The upstairs flats have been developed into conference rooms. These are used by the Church and increasingly by local businesses and community groups. The conference rooms have their own web site www.thelinkcosham.co.uk And in May 2010 the final piece of building work has commenced, as in a joint partnership with the City Council, the two beer stores at the rear of the premises are being developed into a Children’s Centre. This work also involves the development of a new foyer, entrance and offices in the ‘centre’ of the two buildings. In fact this building work will actually make the premises look like one building!
