We value wholesome, loving community in the family unit as essential to the wellbeing and security of its members, and as the best environment for the nurturing and maturing of children.

We value the community of marriage as the smallest form of community and that from which the community life of both the family and society springs and on which it depends.

We value the ideal of a life-long, loving commitment of a man and a woman to each other in marriage as the foundation of the security so necessary to human relationships and as the one legitimate sphere for the God-ordained delight in the goodness of human sexuality.

We value that special community of those whose lives God has redeemed in Christ and who seek to live those redeemed lives together in the love of God and each other and in the love and service of their fellow human beings.
